A complaint I've had with the Bush administration so far has been their ridiculous attempts at "bluster". Their "tough talk", if you will. America is an awesome country - there is no doubt. We have the best military in the world, we're a nation of innovators, we're hard working. We proved all this in World War 2.
Now a man confident in his strength doesn't have to go around showing it off. A country confident in its strength doesn't employ false bravado. In fact it would be irresponsible.
For this reason Obama caught my attention in his interview with Bill O'Reilly when he stated:
Listen, it is not appropriate for somebody who is one of two people who could be the president of the united states to start tipping their hand in respect to Iran.
Bush, McCain, Palin should take note of this. Overestimating ourselves, underestimating our enemies... is fatal mistake. McCain has joked about bombing Iran, he has made light of suicide bombers.

You'd think an ex POW would be more respectful of war.
